Summer Conditioning Program: Physio program is offering summer conditioning for Douglas students. The link for registration is (https://bhphysio.com/douglas-highmiddle-school-). The cost is $200 or $150 for early registration. Please contact Mr. Batteen if you need assistance with a "scholarship" to help pay for this program. See flyer below for details.

E-Sports Information:
This sport takes and interest that many students have, playing video games, and incorporates it into a competitive environment. Students compete against their peers from throughout our region using a virtual competition environment. Some game titles available for students to compete are in solo games like Chess, while others are team-based like Rocket League. E-Sports is a rapidly expanding sports in middle and high school, and also at the collegiate level. Universities and other entities are even providing scholarships to E-Sports players to attend school. Competitions will be structured and take place on certain days at set times. There will also be times available for practice and team building activities on a student's non-competition days. Game titles, expectations, goals and more will be discussed during the initial parent meeting listed above.

Garden Club Information:
Students will plant, grow and harvest fruits and vegetables from our school garden. They will learn how to care for the plants as well as the agricultural science behind gardening and how to grow more efficiently and in different media and environments.
